Find and drill your weakest stage
Rebuild the parts of "Find and drill your weakest stage", then say why each one matters.
Step 1 of 3
Find and drill your weakest stage
- Product fluency
- Demo Cursor out loud daily; build the side-by-side vs Copilot, Windsurf, Claude Code
- Discovery
- Rerun the timed mock until the question flow is reflex and your talk ratio is under 40%
- ROI
- Rebuild the model from scratch with conservative inputs; lead with payback
- Objections
- Have a partner fire the top-10 live until acknowledge-route-pivot is automatic
- Mission fit
- Rewrite "why Cursor" around one true personal moment, then say it on camera

The readiness checklist
The readiness checklistAll four must be true before you go
- You can demo Cursor and answer the top-10 likely objections with no notes.
- You have 6-8 polished STAR stories, each mapped to a Cursor value: passion, high agency, velocity, curiosity, customer-obsession, coachability.
- Your numbers come out identically every time, denominators included.
- Every rubric dimension above is a self-scored 4 or higher.
Start from the six behavioral themes the loop screens for, then assign your single best real story to each. One story can serve two values, but no value should be uncovered. The gap you find - usually "a time I changed my mind from feedback" for coachability or a concrete "raw curiosity" moment - is precisely the question that will catch you in the founder round if you leave it blank.
If any dimension is below 4, you have a drill, not a reason to panic. Pick the lowest, run the matching exercise above until it clears and re-score. Walking into a founder-led, no-AI work-trial loop under-rehearsed is the avoidable failure; the prep is finite and the bar is knowable.
