Start in the intended workspace
Start one CLI session in acme/api and verify its workspace and applicable project instructions before editing.
Step 1 of 2
Run command -v agent and agent --version. Check agent status and sign in through agent login if needed. Open acme/api, verify its root with git rev-parse --show-toplevel and start Agent with --workspace pointed at that path. Before any edit, ask the session to state its working directory and name the applicable AGENTS.md and .cursor/rules files. Stop if the binary, account, root or instructions do not match.
