Review the data path
Explain why useful external context still needs ownership, permission and data review.
Step 1 of 2
Why context matters
An agent can make a better change when it can read the ticket, design document and current error trace. Each connected server also creates another data path, so the team must review who runs it, what it can reach and what it may change. Record that decision with the server configuration so others can review it later. Name who can change the configuration and how the team will investigate an unexpected call. Review the approval again when the server or its permissions change.
An MCPModel Context Protocol. A standard that lets an AI agent pull in context from outside the repo, like Jira tickets or internal docs. Press Enter for the full definition. server can bring untrusted content into the agent or send company data to another system. Treat it like any other integration. Approve the server, limit its permissions and record its use.
