Set two read-only subagent lanes
Run two read-only surveys in parallel, inspect both reports and keep the edit in the parent task.

Split one retry investigation into two read-only reports. Ask Explore to list every retry count and backoff value in src/api-client. Create retry-test-map under .cursor/agents with readonly and is_background set to true, then require a table of covered and missing retry cases. Give both prompts the package, symptom, constraints and return format because each subagent starts clean. Launch them together. Open every cited symbol and test in the parent task, resolve disagreements and make the one implementation change there. Inspect the final diff to confirm that neither subagent wrote to the checkout.
