Grok Bot Pages, Images and Videos: Make, Share and Save
Ask your Grok Bot in chat. A page, such as a report, dashboard or tracker, arrives as a card you open and change by asking the Bot, and it stays private until you share it. Images and video clips of 1 to 15 seconds arrive in the chat too, and everything is listed in the Bot's Library.

How does a Grok Bot make and open a page?
A page is something a Bot builds for you to read: a report, a memo, a dashboard, a tracker or an explainer. It can hold text, tables, charts, and controls like filters and switches, and it lives in the Bot's Library so you can come back to it and share it.
To get one, ask in chat and say what the page is for and what should be on it. The help page's example is "Make a page that compares the three quotes in this thread, with a table and a short recommendation." The Bot builds it and posts it as a card with the page's title and Open.
Pages is rolling out gradually and isn't available on Enterprise teams yet. If you don't see pages, update Grok BotAn early AI teammate product from SpaceXAI and Cursor that works across apps on a persistent cloud computer and asks for approval on selected actions; launch materials describe it as beta, but Cursor says Beta Services terms do not apply. Press Enter for the full definition. to 0.60.0 or later on your computer and 1.14.0 or later on your phone.
On desktop, click the card and the page fills the window, with the chat still open in a smaller panel beside it so you can keep talking while you read. On the phone, tap the card to open it in the app; the rest of the phone app is covered on Grok BotAn early AI teammate product from SpaceXAI and Cursor that works across apps on a persistent cloud computer and asks for approval on selected actions; launch materials describe it as beta, but Cursor says Beta Services terms do not apply. How do you change a page?
Ask the Bot. With the page open, type in the chat panel beside it, labeled Message about and the page's title. The Bot edits the same page, so everyone who can open it sees the change.
This is the bit that trips people up. Filters, switches and other controls on a page change what you see, not what the page holds, and nothing you do on the page is saved. Flip a filter, close the page, and the next viewer sees the page as the Bot built it.
To rename a page you made, click its title at the top of the open page.
How do you share a page, and what does link sharing expose?
A new page is private to you until you share it. Open the page and click Share at the top, or choose Share… from the page's menu in the Library, then pick an option under Who can view and click Copy link.
- Option
- People you invite
- Who can open the page
- You and the teammates and groups you add, each with Viewer access. On a personal account this option is Only you.
- Option
- Your team, or your team's name
- Who can open the page
- Everyone on your Cursor team
- Option
- Anyone with the link
- Who can open the page
- Anyone, with no sign-in needed
| Option | Who can open the page |
|---|---|
| People you invite | You and the teammates and groups you add, each with Viewer access. On a personal account this option is Only you. |
| Your team, or your team's name | Everyone on your Cursor team |
| Anyone with the link | Anyone, with no sign-in needed |
Some teams also see an option for everyone in their organization. People who open a team or invite link sign in with their Cursor account first. Everyone you share with can read the page and use its controls, and only the Bot can change it.
Anyone with the link deserves a second look before you choose it. The page gets its own web address on pages.grok.bot, made from the page's title, and anyone with that address can open it without signing in. Share it that way only when the page holds nothing private. The address stays the same if you rename the page, and you can't choose a custom address yet. Public sharing is off on Enterprise teams; personal accounts and non-Enterprise teams can use it.
To share with fewer people, open Share again and choose a narrower option. If an option is missing, the share menu says why: Public sharing is off for Enterprise teams, Pages in your personal space can't be team-shared, Couldn't update access (try again), or This page's access changed. Make your change again. when someone else changed access while you had the menu open.
Where are a Bot's pages and every page you've shared listed?
There are two lists, and they answer different questions. The Library shows what one Bot made, and the dashboard shows everything you've shared.
- Library (desktop)
- Click the Bot's name at the top of the chat, then open the Library tab. Lists the pages, files and apps the Bot has made; shared pages say so on their row.
- Row menu
- More actions (three dots) offers Open, Share… and Pin. Pinned pages stay at the top under Pinned; Unpin removes them.
- Shared Canvases
- On your Cursor dashboard, pages you've shared are listed under Grok BotAn early AI teammate product from SpaceXAI and Cursor that works across apps on a persistent cloud computer and asks for approval on selected actions; launch materials describe it as beta, but Cursor says Beta Services terms do not apply. Press Enter for the full definition. Pages. Change who can view a page, or delete it.
Deleting a page from Shared Canvases means anyone with the link loses access, so that is the place to clean up a page you shared publicly and no longer want out there.
How do you ask a Grok Bot for an image?
Tell the Bot what you want, describing the subject, style and mood in your own words. It creates an image only when you ask for one. To build on pictures you already have, share them in the chat and say how to use them, and the Bot treats them as references.
Images can be square, wide or tall: 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 16:9 or 9:16. Image creation isn't used for charts, plots or tables. For those, ask for a page instead.
How do you ask for a video, and what lengths and sizes are there?
Ask for a video, an animation or a clip. The Bot can start from several kinds of input, and you can combine a starting point with up to 4 images that must appear at set moments inside the clip.
- A description of the scene.
- One image you share, which becomes the first frame.
- Two images, one for the start and one for the end. Use the same image for both to make a loop.
- Up to 14 reference images showing how people, objects, clothing or settings should look.
- Length
- 1 to 15 seconds; default 6 seconds
- Resolution
- 480p unless you ask for 720p
- Aspect ratios
- 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, 3:4, 3:2 and 2:3. A clip from your image keeps its shape unless you ask otherwise.
- Input images
- JPEG, PNG or WebP; about 35 MB total for one clip
- Output
- An MP4 file
Creating a video can take a few minutes. Set expectations on style, too. Videos look filmed, so they suit a live scene, a still photo brought to life or a character from your reference images. They aren't made for motion graphics, title cards, slideshows, product or app demos, charts, or anything that needs exact text, timing or brand assets.
Where do images and videos appear, and how do you save them?
The Bot sends each image and video to the chat, and images it creates still load there while its computer is asleep. They're also listed in the Bot's Library, newest first. On desktop, click the Bot's name, open Library and click a row to open it full screen; on the phone, tap the Bot's name, tap Library and tap an item. Images you uploaded yourself aren't included.

Handed-off work counts too. When your Bot hands work to a task, that task can create images and videos, and the Bot then sends them to the chat like anything else. How Bots hand off and message each other is on managing Grok Bots.
Why didn't the Bot create what you asked for?
Usually one of four reasons. The first one can look like a failure when the Bot is doing exactly what the help page describes.
- To show what a real person, place or product looks like, the Bot finds a real image instead of creating one.
- Content rules block some requests, and the Bot says so. Naming trademarked characters, brands or real people often causes a block, so describe the subject in your own words and try again.
- If image creation is busy, the Bot may ask you to try again in a moment.
- If the Bot says image or video generation isn't available for your account, creation is turned off for you. On a team, an admin's model settings or the team's privacy settings can cause this, so ask your admin.
And if what you wanted was a chart, the Bot was never going to draw it as an image. Ask for a page.
Frequently asked questions
What happens when I share a page with anyone who has the link?
The page gets its own address on pages.grok.bot, made from its title, and anyone with it can open the page without signing in. The address stays the same if you rename the page. Public sharing is off on Enterprise teams.
Where do I see every page I've shared?
On your Cursor dashboard under Shared Canvases, in the Grok Bot Pages list. You can change who can view a page or delete it there. Deleting a page means anyone with the link loses access.
Do filters on a page change it for everyone?
No. Filters, switches and other controls change what you see, and nothing you do on the page is saved. To change the page itself, ask the Bot in the Message about panel beside it.
What lengths and sizes can a video be?
Clips run 1 to 15 seconds with a default of 6, at 480p unless you ask for 720p, in 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, 3:4, 3:2 or 2:3. Each clip is saved as an MP4.
Why didn't my Bot create what I asked for?
It may have found a real image of a real person, place or product, a content rule may have blocked the request, image creation may be busy, or generation may be turned off for your account by an admin's model or privacy settings.
